Located in the verdant valley of Western Ghat, Koottickal, Vadakemala and Panchalimedu are the famous tourist destination near Mundakkayam, and bestowed with naked peaks and evergreen forest cover. It is an ideal home to the artificial Dam at Koottickal generated by the Check-Dam on the Manimala River.
